It seems like that the humanity has covered a distance, much more than those covered in thousands of years, in the last 50 years. We are experiencing an explicitly different period, which our ancestors could not even imagine. We cracked the door of future open and what we see gives the hints of in what kind of world our children and grandchildren shall live.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The innovations in information technologies may be evaluated as the greatest revolutions of our age undoubtedly. Artificial intelligence, internet, refined and virtual reality, robotic systems, and much more come into our lives. Of course, these developments, which proceed in parallel but are different, have to meet at some point, virtual world and the real world have to integrate, all have to meet in a common ecosystem, and operate in coordination. Internet of Things (IoT), which refers to the connection and interaction, talking with each other of the smart phones, comes into play here. It is evident that we will encounter with many devices and systems that are compatible with this context in new generation internet technologies \u2026 However, considering this only within the context of consumer electronics would be evaluating the matter only with one aspect. Most importantly, beyond the devices we use in daily life, it seems that the devices and systems, which can communicate each other and operate together within various fields of industry, are expecting exciting developments.     <\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What is Industry 4.0? What is Industrial Internet? Who Has Suggested the Term of Industrial Internet First?  <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.poelsan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Resim1-640x333.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The concept of Industry 4.0 was used in 2011, at Hannover Fair in Germany, for the first time. In 2012, Industry 4.0 report was presented to the German Government and actualized. With this Project, it was aimed to bring information technologies together with the industry. On the other side, the internet technology, in which all kinds of equipment, software, and hardware used in production operate as optimized with each other at global level, is called Internet of Industrial Things (IIoT) or Industrial Internet, in short. As it can be guessed, Industrial Internet appears as a sub-set of Internet of Things. The concept of Industrial Internet was suggested by General Electric for the first time at the end of 2012. General Electric, which has made great investment in this field, established Ge Digital unit for this purpose, and founded the Industrial Internet Consortium with the giant companies such as Microsoft, Huawei, and Dell. The market of Industrial Internet is expected to reach to a size of 125 billion dollars in 2021. Today, Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet, and Internet of Things are used as near synonymous concepts.        <\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In Which Fields Is the Industrial Internet Used?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.poelsan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Resim2-640x342.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>A dense digitalization process continues in almost every sector. Of course, this transformation is not easy, and brings some pains with it. According to a conducted study, only 5% of the companies can carry out their digital transformation successfully. Industrial Internet, which is a must of digitalization, brings both innovations into the existing lines of business and make contributions into the emergence of brand new lines of business undoubtedly. The main fields, in which the Internet of Industrial Things is used, are the following:    <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>*Production:<\/strong> Production appears as the primary sector, in which the Industrial Internet is applied, undoubtedly. Industrial Internet-based devices are able to observe the production processes and increase the productivity by responding to the malfunctions in production promptly foreseeing the possible issues. <\/p>\n<p><strong>*Supply Chain:<\/strong> Thanks to the smart stock systems, Industrial Internet technology can give new orders, when the stocks are about to be exhausted, and thus may enable the employees to focus on other works.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Building Management:<\/strong> Industrial Internet can make the building management much more simple and safe. By means of the systems with sensors, the temperature of the enclosed spaces may be adjusted automatically. Security systems may be activated automatically against the possible violations.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>*Health:<\/strong> Observing the status of the patients transiently and informing the health care personnel immediately in case of an unfavourable situation may be possible by means of the smart systems. Furthermore, examination of the patient may be carried out via artificial intelligence, and Works of the physicians may be much more facilitated. <\/p>\n<p><strong>*Retail: With the Industrial Internet, the operation of a store can be optimized.<\/strong> Various marketing decisions can be made instantly according to consumer preferences and demand, and competitors can be avoided.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Agriculture: Temperature, humidity, precipitation amount, wind speed, soil quality and pest control in agriculture can be done thanks to smart technologies and decisions about production can be taken very quickly without human touch.<\/strong> In this way, the amount of product taken can increase significantly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Industrial Internet, which will shape the production of the new era, brings with it the concept of digital industry. In his report titled \u201cThe Moment for Industry\u201d published in October 2015, GE Chief Economist Marco Annunziata says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cUntil today, the attention has been focused on the consumer internet, many innovations have been brought in, which transforms our daily lives. However, the spotlights now focused on industry, because the greatest transformations will be encountered in this field.
